Read social insights

Use Insights to see how your posts perform. You can compare networks side by side, find your top posts, and open the numbers for any single post you published.

Before you start

  • You can see Social in the left rail, with Home and Insights in its panel. If not, ask your admin to give your role Social access. See the Settings overview.
  • At least one network is connected, and you have published a post. See Create and publish a social post.

Steps

Check Social Home

Social Home has its own page. See Use Social Home.

Compare performance on Insights

  1. Open Social in the left rail, then select Insights.
  2. To narrow to one network, click All Channels and pick a channel. Instagram opens its own view. See Read Instagram insights.
  3. Pick a date range: 7 days, 30 days or Month to date. Each figure is compared with the period before.
  4. Read the Summary: Posts, Total Followers, Reactions, Comments, Eng. Rate, Impressions and Shares. Hover over a figure to see what it counts.
  5. Under Performance, compare each channel's Posts, Reactions, Comments, Eng. Rate, Followers, Views and Reach. Followers, views and reach show the change against the period before.
  6. Under Top 5 Posts, switch between Reactions and Comments to rank your best posts.
  7. Under Performance per Post, see the numbers for every post published in the period.

See the numbers for one post

  1. Open Social → Publish, then click the Sent tab.
  2. Each post shows its Reach, Engagement, Likes and Comments.
  3. Click View Analytics on the post. The Post Analytics window opens with the numbers for each network.
  4. Click Close when you are done.

What the networks report

Not every network shares every number. Followers, views and reach come from Instagram when it is connected with Direct Instagram login; other networks leave them blank. Total Followers adds up the channels that report a count. Shares come from Facebook only. Eng. Rate needs impressions, so it is often blank.

Troubleshooting

Issue Cause Fix
No published posts in this period. Nothing was published in the date range you picked. Pick a longer range, or publish a post.
No channels connected No network is connected. Connect one in Connect → Social Connections.
No published targets for this post yet. The post has not gone out to any network yet. Wait until the post is Published, then open View Analytics again.
Analytics not available for a network That network does not share post numbers with Ohanvi. Check the numbers on the network itself.
Numbers look out of date Figures refresh in the background. Click Refresh.
