Use the AI Assistant in the composer¶
The AI Assistant writes a caption and finds an image for your post. It takes over the preview side of the Create Post window until you go back. You can then rewrite the caption or swap the image. It takes about 3 minutes.
Before you start¶
- You have opened the Create Post window and picked at least one channel. See Create and publish a social post.
- You know what the post is about, or you want to start from a trending topic.
Steps¶
Open the assistant¶
- In Create Post, click AI Assistant at the top. The label changes to Close AI Assistant.
- Read the line Writing for …. It names the channels you picked. The assistant writes for the tightest of them.
- To leave the assistant, click the back arrow (Back to preview).
Describe the post¶
- Under What should this post be about?, type your topic. For example:
Diwali sale on ethnic wear. - If the composer already has a caption, this box reads Write something new.
- Tick Caption only, no image if you do not want an image.
- Click Generate post. The button reads Generating… and the pane says Writing your caption and finding an image….
- When it finishes, the caption and image appear in the composer.
Start from a trending topic¶
- Under Or start from what's trending, pick a topic area in the list at the right.
- Click a topic chip. The assistant shows up to 20 topics.
- Click Generate post.
- If the topic box already has text, your own text is used, not the chip.
If the pane says Trending topics aren't available right now — type your own above., type your own topic. For a topic area with nothing trending, it says No trending topics for this area right now — try another, or type your own above.
Rewrite the caption¶
- After a caption exists, find Refine your caption.
- Click one of the buttons:
- Rephrase says the same thing in new words.
- Shorten to N makes it fit the tightest limit among your channels.
Nis that limit. - Expand makes it longer.
- More casual makes it friendlier.
- More formal makes it more professional.
- A spinner shows on the button while it works. The caption in the composer changes.
Swap the image¶
- Under Image, change the words in Search words, e.g. diwali lights. They start as the words the AI chose.
- Click Change image. It reads Finding… while it searches.
- The new image replaces the old one. The caption does not change.
Finish the post¶
- Click the back arrow (Back to preview) to see the post on each channel.
- Click Publish Now, Save Draft or Schedule. See Create and publish a social post.
Troubleshooting¶
| Issue | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|

| The assistant shows an error in red | The AI could not finish. | Click Generate post again, or shorten your topic. |
| Change image finds a poor match | The search words are too general. | Type more specific words, then click Change image again. |
