Manage lead sources and see which ones convert¶
A lead source is the channel a lead came through, such as your website, a referral or Instagram. At the end, each lead has a source and you can see which sources bring people who qualify. Adding a source takes about a minute.
Before you start¶
- You are an admin. CRM settings are admin only.
- You know the channels your enquiries come through.
Steps¶
Open Lead Sources¶
- Click your initials in the bottom-left corner, then click Settings.
- Select CRM, then click Lead Sources.
You can also press Ctrl K (⌘K on a Mac), type Lead Sources, and select it.
Read the performance view¶
- Read the heading Lead Sources. The line under it says Where your N leads come from — and which convert best.
- Read Performance by source. The chip Last 30 days shows the period. Only leads created in the last 30 days count.
- Read each row. It shows the source name, a bar for its share of leads, and the count, for example 48 leads.
- Under each row, read N qualified · N% conv. A lead counts as qualified when its status is QUALIFIED or CONVERTED.
- Look for sources with many leads and a low rate. They fill your list but rarely qualify.
The busiest source is first.
Add a source¶
- Click Add source. The Add Lead Source form opens.
- In Name, type the source, for example
Instagram. - Optional: type a Description.
- Optional: tick Default Source to preselect it on new leads.
- Click Submit. The message Lead source created appears.
Ohanvi starts you with Website, Referral, Cold Call, Trade Show, Social Media, Email Campaign, Partner and Other.
Use a source on a lead¶
- Open a lead, or click Add lead. See Work with leads.
- Pick the Lead Source.
- Save the lead. It now counts in that source's row.
If you have none yet, the screen says No lead sources yet. Click Add source.
