Read billing and usage

Billing & Usage shows Meta's charges for your WhatsApp messages and the usage of AI Smart Replies. At the end, you know how many messages were billable, which categories cost the most, and how you pay Meta. Pick 7, 30 or 90 days.

Before you start

  • You can open Manage in the WhatsApp panel. If not, ask your admin.
  • Your WhatsApp number is connected to Ohanvi. See Connect your WhatsApp number.
  • For your Ohanvi credits and top-ups, use Credits and billing. That is a different screen.

What the screen shows

Item What it means
Billable messages Template messages Meta delivered and charged for in the period. Some accounts see Billable conversations instead.
Advance balance with Meta Prepaid credit with Meta. It draws down per message, or per conversation.
By category Marketing, utility, authentication and service messages. Meta bills them at different rates.
By pricing type Regular, free entry point and free tier. Some accounts see By conversation type instead.
How you pay Meta Whether Meta is paid through Ohanvi or directly.

Steps

Open Billing & Usage

  1. Open WhatsApp in the left rail, then select Manage.
  2. Select Billing & Usage. The title reads Billing & Usage, with Meta conversation charges and AI usage below it.

Pick the data and the period

  1. Choose WhatsApp (Meta) to see Meta's message charges.
  2. Choose AI Smart Replies to see what AI replies used. See the section below.
  3. Choose 7d, 30d or 90d. The default is 30d.

Read your WhatsApp usage

  1. Read Billable messages for the period, for example Last 30 days.
  2. Read Advance balance with Meta, if your account has one.
  3. Scroll to By category to see how marketing, utility, authentication and service messages split.
  4. Scroll to By pricing type to see regular, free entry point and free tier messages.
  5. Read How Meta billing works at the bottom. It says Meta charges the payment method on file in your Meta Business Manager.

Choose how you pay Meta

  1. Find the card How you pay Meta. It says Switch anytime — this changes how WhatsApp usage is billed from your credits.
  2. Choose Pay through Ohanvi if you want Ohanvi to front Meta's credit line. Your credits are charged Meta's rate plus Ohanvi's commission.

  3. Choose Pay Meta directly if you pay Meta on your own account. Your credits are charged only Ohanvi's usage commission.

  4. Wait for the message Billing method updated.

Pay Meta

  1. Click Pay to Meta at the top. This button shows when a payment link is available.
  2. Meta's payment settings open in a new tab. Pay there.

See Meta's current rates

  1. Scroll to Exact ₹ rates on Meta's pricing page.
  2. Click View Meta pricing. Meta's own pricing page opens.

Ohanvi does not show exact rates. They change by category and region.

Read AI Smart Replies usage

  1. Choose AI Smart Replies at the top.
  2. Read the charges for the period, shown as AI charges · last 30 days or as an estimated bill from your own AI provider.
  3. Read Tokens used, Prompt and Response.
  4. If you use your own AI key, click the Go to … billing link to pay that provider. Ohanvi does not bill it.

Troubleshooting

Issue Cause Fix
Could not load billing usage. The page could not fetch your usage. Click Retry.
Meta could not return usage figures Meta did not answer. Click Refresh later.
No conversation data for this period. You sent nothing in the period. Pick a longer period, such as 90d.
Could not update billing method. The change did not save. Choose the option again.
Pay to Meta is missing No payment link is available for your account. Pay from your Meta Business Manager.
