Read Google review stats

See your Google rating, how it changed over time, and what happened on your review page: scans, drafts made, copies, Google opens and private notes. See what customers told you too: their stars, their answers to your questions and the names they picked. Use it to check whether asking for reviews is working, and what to fix. It takes about 2 minutes.

Before you start

Steps

Open Stats

  1. Click More on the left rail, then select Google Reviews → Stats.
  2. If you have several branches, pick the branch in Branch:. See Switch between branches.
  3. If your page is not set up yet, the screen says Set up your review page first. Click Open Review page and finish setup.

Read the tiles

The tiles at the top show:

Tile What it shows
Google rating Your listing's star rating on Google Maps.
Google reviews The number of reviews on your Google listing.
Scans today Times your review page was opened today, from the QR code or the link.
Private notes Private notes customers sent you. See Read private notes.

Google rating and Google reviews are marked Data from Google Maps. They refresh about once a week, so they can lag behind your listing. If no listing is confirmed, they read Confirm your listing to see it.

Read the funnel

The Funnel shows how far customers got:

Step What it counts
Scans People who opened your review page.
Drafts made Times the AI wrote drafts for a customer. One tap of Write my review counts once, for 3 drafts.
Copies Times a customer copied a review to paste on Google.
Google opens Customers sent to Google's review form.

Under Drafts made, Copies and Google opens, a line such as 40% of scans compares the step with Scans.

Copies is lower than Google opens when customers open Google with no text to copy, or when their phone blocks copying.

Google opens are not posted reviews

Google doesn't tell Ohanvi who posted. A Google open means a customer reached Google's review form, not that they posted. Your real review count is in Google reviews above.

Read your rating over time

The Google rating over time chart shows your Google rating as Ohanvi checked it, about once a week. Under the chart, a line such as On 20 Oct: ★ 4.6 · 128 Google reviews gives the latest check. The chart is marked Data from Google Maps.

The chart needs at least 2 checks. Until then it reads The chart fills in as we check your rating on Google, about once a week. Confirm your Google listing to start.

Read the daily chart

The Per day chart shows each day of the last 30 days: scans, drafts made, copies, Google opens and private notes. Use it to spot the days when you asked fewer customers.

See what customers told you

The What customers told you card adds up what customers picked on your review page. Pick 30 days, 90 days or 1 year to choose the period.

Part What it shows
Visits The number of visits in the period, such as 42 with Visits in the last 30 days. See how they are counted below.
Stars given How many visits gave 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 stars.
Each of your questions The question, how many customers answered it, and the share of them who picked each answer.
Names customers tapped The Staff, Services and Products customers picked, with how many times each.
Languages The page languages customers used, with each one's share of visits.

How visits are counted:

  • Each tap of Write my review is 1 visit, even when no drafts come back.
  • Each private note is 1 visit.
  • A customer who taps Write my review and also sends a private note counts as 2 visits. A customer who taps Write my review twice counts twice.
  • A scan with no tap of Write my review and no note doesn't count.

The card holds no personal data. It shows counts only, never who picked what. Answers are kept for 400 days, then deleted.

If you remove a question or an answer, the numbers already counted stay:

  • A removed answer shows inside its own question, under No longer on your page, after the current answers.
  • A removed question shows after your current questions, under No longer on your page.

With several branches, Stats shows the branch picked in Branch:. To see every branch together, open Branches. Below the All N branches card, a separate What customers told you card adds up all branches. It shows only when you have 2 or more branches.

Staff names show here even when Staff names in drafts is off. See Get more Google reviews.

Compare branches

When you have several branches, Stats also shows the card All followed by the number of branches. It adds up the last 30 days of every branch: Scans, Drafts made, Copies, Google opens and Private notes, with how many notes are unread.

The tiles, funnel and charts above it are for the branch picked in Branch:. Click Manage branches on the card to see each branch's numbers. See Manage branches.

Troubleshooting

Issue Cause Fix
Google rating reads Confirm your listing to see it No Google listing is confirmed. A pasted link does not bring the rating. Confirm your business on Review page. See Get more Google reviews.
Google reviews is lower than on Google Maps The count refreshes about once a week. Check your listing on Google Maps for today's number.
Google rating over time shows no chart The rating has been checked fewer than 2 times, or no listing is confirmed. Confirm your listing and check back in 2 weeks.
The numbers look low with several branches The tiles show only the branch picked in Branch:. Read the All branches card at the bottom, or pick another branch.
Google opens is high, but few new reviews Some customers open Google and don't post. No fix needed. Keep asking every customer.
Drafts made is 0 while scans go up AI review drafts is off, the Daily AI limit is reached, or the branch has no Google Reviews Annual Pack and your credits can't cover ₹5. Check Settings on Review page, add funds, or buy the Annual Pack for the branch.
Scans is 0 The QR code or link is not shared, or the page is off. Check that Page is live is on and share the current link.
What customers told you has fewer visits than Scans A visit counts only when a customer taps Write my review or sends a private note. Customers who scan and leave, or tap Write it myself, aren't counted. No fix needed.
What customers told you has more visits than Drafts made A tap of Write my review counts as a visit even when no drafts come back, and a private note is a visit of its own. No fix needed.
A question shows no answers No customer answered it in the period, or you added it recently. Pick a longer period, such as 90 days.
