Join a team

Use the invite link your team owner sent you to create an account inside their workspace. You do not choose a role or an organisation: the link already carries both. Takes about 2 minutes.

Before you start

  • You have an invite link from the team owner or an admin. See Invite teammates.
  • The link is still valid. Links can expire.
  • The team has a free seat. A full team cannot take new members.

Steps

Open the invite

  1. Open the invite link in your browser.
  2. Read the heading. It says You're joining your team's name team. A chip below shows your role, for example as Sales.

Create your account

  1. In Enter your name, type your full name.
  2. In Enter your username, type the username you will sign in with.
  3. In Enter your password, type a password. In Confirm your password, type it again.
  4. In Enter your email, type your work email.
  5. In Enter your mobile number, type your number. The country code starts as India (IN).
  6. Click Join team. The message Account created — welcome to Ohanvi! appears and Home opens.

Join with Google instead

  1. Click Continue with Google and choose your Google account.
  2. The message Welcome to your team's name team! appears and Home opens.

Troubleshooting

Issue Cause Fix
This invite link is invalid or has expired. The link is old or was already used. Ask the owner to send a new invite. You can still click Create an account to start your own workspace.
This team is full. The team's plan has no free seat. Ask the owner to upgrade the plan, as the page says.
You already have an account. You signed up earlier. Click I already have an account and sign in. See Sign in to Ohanvi.
