Get more Google reviews

Set up a review page that is linked to your Google listing, then share its QR code and link. Customers pick stars, answer a few questions about your business, tap names, or speak a few words, get 3 drafts, and post on Google themselves. Setup takes about 10 minutes.

Before you start

  • You can see Google Reviews under More on the left rail. If not, ask your admin to give your role access. See Team, roles and permissions.
  • Your organisation's name and address are filled in on your Ohanvi account. Ohanvi uses them to find your business on Google.
  • Your business has a listing on Google Maps.
  • For AI drafts, the branch has the Google Reviews Annual Pack, or your credits cover ₹5 a request. For voice input, your credits cover ₹3 a use, or ₹2 with the Annual Pack. See Add funds and Buy the Annual Pack for a branch.
  • If you have several branches, each branch has its own review page. Pick the branch in Branch: at the top of the screen. See Manage branches.

Steps

Confirm your business on Google

Ohanvi searches Google Maps for your organisation's name near its address, and shows the best match. You confirm it with one click. Nothing is linked until you confirm, because two businesses can share a name.

  1. Click More on the left rail, then select Google Reviews → Review page. The first time, the page reads Find your business on Google once. Then share the QR code: customers pick their stars, tap what stood out, and post on Google.
  2. Under Is this your business on Google?, wait while it shows Looking for your business on Google….
  3. Read the Best match card. It shows the business name, address, Google rating and number of reviews, with the line Found from your organisation name and address in Ohanvi.
  4. If it is your business, click Yes, this is my business. The message Listing confirmed. Your review link is ready. appears.
  5. If it is not your business, click Not mine, search and go to Search for your business.

Check it is your listing

Customers who scan your QR code are sent to this listing to post their review. A wrong match sends their reviews to another business. Compare the address before you confirm.

Ohanvi also reads your business type from Google and uses it to pick your Industry, which sets the questions customers answer. See Choose the questions customers answer.

After you confirm, the Your Google listing card shows the business with the badge Confirmed and a line such as Confirmed by Asha on 23 Oct 2026. Customers' reviews go to this listing. Listing details are marked Data from Google Maps.

Search for your business

Use this when the match is wrong, or when Ohanvi found no match.

  1. In Search Google, type your business name and area, as it shows on Google Maps. Use 2 to 120 characters.
  2. Click Search. Up to 5 results appear, each with its name and address. Results near your address come up first.
  3. Click Pick on your business. Ohanvi reads the listing from Google, with its rating and review count, and links it.

If nothing fits, the screen says No businesses found. Try the name as it shows on Google, with your area.

To link a different business later, click Change on the Your Google listing card. The card reads Change your Google listing. Search and pick again, or click Cancel to keep the current one.

Use this only if you cannot find your business by search.

  1. Open Google Business Profile and sign in with the account that manages your listing.
  2. Click Ask for reviews (on some screens it is Get more reviews or Share review form).
  3. Copy the link Google shows. It starts with https://g.page/ or https://search.google.com/.
  4. In Ohanvi, on Review page, click Can't find it? Paste your Google review link instead.
  5. Paste the link and click Save link. The message Review link saved appears.

The listing card then reads Customers go to the review link you pasted, not to the listing. Remove it to use the listing. Click Remove pasted link to go back to the confirmed listing.

You do not need to connect Google Business Profile to collect reviews. To reply to reviews from Ohanvi you do, and Auto-reply shows under Google Reviews only once Google approves Business Profile access for Ohanvi. See Set up auto-reply.

Choose the questions customers answer

Customers answer 3 or 4 short questions about your kind of business by tapping one answer each, for example Excellent, Good, Average or Poor. They don't have to type. The drafts use only the answers they tap.

  1. On Review page, find Questions customers answer. The line under it reads Customers tap one answer per question, and can add a few words of their own. The AI drafts use only what they pick.
  2. Check Industry. Ohanvi picks it from your Google listing when you confirm your business, and shows the type Google gave it, such as Google lists you as "Software company". If it is wrong, pick your industry from the list. If none fits, pick Other business.
  3. Read the questions. Each card shows its number, the question and its answers.
  4. To change a question, edit its text right on the card. To change an answer, tap it (Tap to edit), change the text, then click Update answer. To add an answer, type it and click Add answer. To drop an answer, click the x on it (Remove answer). To drop a question, click the trash icon (Remove question).
  5. To add your own question, click Add question, type the question and add its answers.
  6. Click Save questions.

Each industry, such as IT / Software, Travel agency, Salon / Spa, Clinic / Doctor, Restaurant / Cafe or Retail shop, comes with its own 3 or 4 default questions. Until you edit them, your page shows your industry's defaults. If you change Industry later, the defaults change with it. Questions you edited stay until you reset them.

Item Limit
Questions 1 to 5.
Question text 3 to 120 characters.
Answers per question 2 to 5.
Each answer 1 to 30 characters.

Questions and answers show exactly as you write them, in every page language. Write them in the language most of your customers read.

Suggest questions with AI

  1. Under Questions customers answer, click Suggest with AI.
  2. Read the 3 or 4 questions it suggests for your industry, each with 4 answers.
  3. Edit or remove any you don't want.
  4. Click Save questions. The suggestions are not used until you save them.

Suggestions use the AI model set in Google Reviews → Settings. See Choose the AI model for Google Reviews.

Go back to the industry questions

Click Reset to industry defaults. Your own questions are replaced with your industry's default questions.

The "Other" box

Inside Want to add more?, under the questions, customers also see a short box for anything the questions missed. It reads Anything else? e.g. the service you used. They can type up to 120 characters, such as the service they came for. The box is optional, and you don't set it up.

Tip

Ask about what customers can judge in a tap: speed, care, cleanliness, value. Keep every answer honest, with a poor option as well as a good one. Leave out offers and prices.

Tags are replaced by questions

The page no longer shows tags such as Great service. Questions give the drafts more to work with, in the customer's own choice of answer.

Add names customers can pick

Customers can also tap who helped them and what they came for. Each group you fill shows on the page as its own question, in a card under your questions, so customers always see the names you added.

Group Customers see Example
Staff Who helped you? Dr. Mehta
Services What did you come for? Root canal
Products What did you buy? Chocolate cake
  1. On Review page, find Names customers can pick.
  2. Under Staff, Services or Products, type a name and click Add. Use up to 12 names in each group, each 2 to 40 characters.
  3. Click Save names. The message Names saved appears.

Leave a group empty to hide its question. To drop unsaved changes, click Undo changes.

Names, questions and answers show on your public page, so a swear word or slur in any of them stops the save with Please remove the word "…" and try again. See Keep the page polite.

Names appear only when the customer picks them

A draft mentions a name only when the customer picked it. A staff name, service or product the customer didn't tap never appears in a draft. Don't add names to push keywords into reviews.

Staff names stay out of drafts by default

Google doesn't allow a business to ask for specific content in a review, and that includes staff names. So by default, staff names customers tap go to your private notes and stats only, not into the Google draft. Services and products the customer picks still go into drafts. To let drafts mention staff the customer picked, turn on Staff names in drafts. See Set up the page.

Set up the page

  1. On Review page, go to Settings.
  2. Make sure Page is live is on. Turn it off to stop the QR code and link from opening.
  3. Turn AI review drafts on or off. When it is on, customers get 3 drafts written only from their stars, answers and words.
  4. Set the Business name customers see. Leave it empty to use your Google listing name.
  5. Pick the Page language. The customer page and its drafts use it. Customers can switch to another language on the page.
  6. Click More settings to open the rest. It holds Voice input, Private note for 1–3 stars, Staff names in drafts, Daily AI limit, Accent colour, Logo, Website widget and Generate new QR code.
  7. Turn Voice input on or off. When it is on, customers can tap Speak instead and say their review. The recording is never stored.
  8. Turn Private note for 1–3 stars on or off. It is on by default. See Read private notes.
  9. Turn Staff names in drafts on or off. It is off by default. When it is off, staff names the customer taps go to your private notes and stats, not into the drafts.
  10. Set the Daily AI limit: the most draft requests a day. After that, customers write their own words. You can change it only while AI review drafts is on.
  11. Optional: pick an Accent colour. It is used for the page's buttons, chips and header. Pick Default to use the page's own colour.
  12. Optional: to change the Logo, click Change logo in Flyer. The logo you upload in the flyer shows on the review page and the flyer. See Design a review flyer.
  13. Click Save settings. The message Settings saved appears.
Setting What it allows
Staff names in drafts Off by default. When off, staff names customers tap reach only your private notes and stats. Google doesn't allow asking for specific content, such as staff names, in reviews. When on, a draft may mention a staff member the customer picked.
Voice input On by default. Each voice input (one tap of Speak instead) costs ₹3 + GST, paid from your credits, or ₹2 + GST with the Google Reviews Annual Pack. It is charged whether the customer's phone or our AI turns the speech into text. Each branch takes up to 100 voice inputs a day, with or without the pack.
Business name Up to 120 characters.
Page language 11 languages: English, हिन्दी (Hindi), Hinglish (Hindi in English letters), मराठी (Marathi), ગુજરાતી (Gujarati), বাংলা (Bengali), தமிழ் (Tamil), తెలుగు (Telugu), ಕನ್ನಡ (Kannada), മലയാളം (Malayalam) and ਪੰਜਾਬੀ (Punjabi).
Daily AI limit 1 to 1000 draft requests a day. The default is 200. One tap of Write my review is 1 request: ₹5 + GST paid from your credits, or free with the Google Reviews Annual Pack. The limit applies with the pack too.
Accent colour One of the colours shown, or Default.
Logo Set in the flyer, with Change logo in Flyer. Until you add one, Settings shows your business initials in its place.

Unlimited drafts for a busy branch

The Google Reviews Annual Pack gives one branch unlimited AI drafts and voice input at ₹2 + GST for 1 year, for ₹1,000 + GST from your credits. Buy it with Buy Annual Pack under Settings. See Buy the Annual Pack for a branch.

Show reviews on your website

The website widget shows your Google rating and recent Google reviews on your own website, with a Write a review button that opens your review page.

  1. On Review page, under Settings, click More settings, then turn on Website widget.
  2. Click Save settings. Until you save, the screen reads Save settings to get the code for your website.
  3. Read the line Paste this code into your website where the reviews should show. The code box appears below it.
  4. Click Copy code. The message Code copied appears.
  5. Paste the code into your website's page, where the reviews should show.
  6. Click Preview widget to see it as visitors will.

The widget shows:

  • Your business name as it shows on Google Maps, your Google rating, and the number of Google reviews.
  • Up to 5 Google reviews, each with the reviewer's name, stars, how long ago it was posted, and up to 300 characters of the text.
  • A Write a review button that opens your review page.
  • Data from Google Maps and a See all reviews on Google Maps link.

The widget is in English, whatever the page language. Ohanvi refreshes its reviews from Google at most once a day, so a new review can take a day to show.

To take the widget off your site, turn Website widget off and click Save settings. It can take up to 5 minutes to disappear from your site, because browsers keep a copy for that long. Then the widget reads These reviews are not available. Remove the code from your site too.

  1. On Review page, find the Share card. The badge reads Live when the page is on, or Off when it is not. With several branches, the card names the branch, such as For Andheri West. Each branch has its own QR code and link.
  2. Click Copy link. The message Link copied appears. Share the link on WhatsApp, SMS, email or your bill.
  3. Click Download QR to save the QR code as an image. The message QR code downloaded appears, or QR code saved to followed by the file's location.
  4. For a printed flyer, click Design flyer. See Design a review flyer.

Put it on the counter or the bill, or send it on WhatsApp after the visit.

Tip

Ask every customer, at the same moment in their visit. Click Preview page in the top bar to open your page the way customers see it.

Check what customers see

Open your page link on your phone and try it. The labels below are the English page. Pages in other languages show the same steps in that language.

The page uses your Accent colour for its buttons, chips and header, or indigo when none is set. It turns dark when the customer's phone is in dark mode. A small Powered by Ohanvi line sits at the bottom.

  1. Optional: pick another language in the 🌐 menu at the top. The page reloads in that language, and the drafts are written in it.
  2. Read the top of the page: your logo or initials, your business name, your area, and the line Tap a few answers and we'll write a review you can post on Google.
  3. Under How was your experience?, tap the stars. A word under them names the rating: Very poor, Poor, Okay, Good or Excellent!
  4. Answer the numbered question cards, 01, 02 and so on. Tap one answer on each card. Tap it again to clear it. If you added names, tap them under Who helped you?, What did you come for? or What did you buy?, in the card below the questions.
  5. Optional: tap Want to add more? (Optional). The card opens with:
    • Other (optional), a short box that reads Anything else? e.g. the service you used, up to 120 characters.
    • In your own words (optional), up to 300 characters, with Speak instead next to it. See Voice input.
  6. Tap Write my review at the bottom of the screen. On a phone it stays in reach while you scroll. It reads Writing… while the drafts are made.
  7. Under Pick one to post, read the cards Short, Detailed and Warm. The line above them says Each draft uses only what you told us. Edit anything before you post. Below the drafts, the page says These are suggestions. Please edit them to reflect your genuine experience.
  8. Tap Edit to change a draft, or Write my own instead to write from scratch.
  9. Tap Copy & post on Google on a draft. The review is copied, and a sheet opens from the bottom.
  10. Read the sheet. It shows ✓ Review copied and Google opens in 3s, counting down, with 3 steps:
    1. Tap the stars on Google
    2. Long-press the text box
    3. Tap Paste, then Post
  11. Wait 3 seconds, or tap Open Google now. Google's review form opens.
  12. On Google, tap your stars, long-press the text box, tap Paste, then tap Post.

Back on the page, the sheet has Copy again if the text didn't paste. Tap Close to go back to the drafts.

Draft How it reads
Short 1 to 2 sentences.
Detailed 3 to 4 sentences.
Warm Friendly and personal, 2 to 3 sentences.

If the phone doesn't let the page copy, the sheet shows Couldn't copy it. Select the text below and copy it, then open Google. with the review in a box, and Google doesn't open on its own. The customer copies the text, then taps Open Google now.

If the customer taps Write it myself, or Write my own instead, the page shows Post it on Google with their text in Your review. It lists the steps Choose your stars on Google · Paste · Post and the button Open Google review form, with the line You post it yourself; nothing is posted for you. Open Google review form copies their text and shows the same sheet.

A draft never states a star count. The customer chooses their stars on Google.

When 'Want to add more?' is open from the start

With no questions on the page, Other and own words show open, without the Want to add more? button. The card also opens on its own when the customer taps Write my review with nothing picked, or when their words need a change.

How drafts differ by stars

The stars the customer picks on your page decide how the drafts are written. Every customer sees the same Copy & post on Google button, whatever they pick.

Stars How the drafts read Example
4 or 5 2 to 4 sentences. Each mentions your business name, the service or product the customer picked or typed, and your city or area once, in a natural way. It uses the customer's answers. The 3 drafts are worded differently. "Got our WhatsApp API setup done by Ohanvi IT Solutions in Gurugram. Onboarding was smooth and the support team replied within an hour."
1, 2 or 3 1 or 2 plain sentences, only from the customer's answers and words. No location, no service keywords and nothing that promotes the business. "Setup took longer than expected and support replies were slow. Hope it improves."

For every rating:

  • The customer edits the draft as they like, and posts it on Google themselves. Ohanvi never posts a review.
  • A draft uses only what the customer tapped, typed or said. It never adds details, keyword lists, hashtags or phrases such as "best salon in town".
  • The line These are suggestions. Please edit them to reflect your genuine experience. shows under the drafts, in the page's language.

Why drafts don't stuff keywords

Google removes reviews that look alike or repeat the same phrases, and can put a warning on your profile. Drafts mention your name, service and area once, the way a customer would, and each draft is worded differently. Don't edit your own page or flyer to push keywords into reviews.

When drafts are not available, the page offers only Write it myself. That happens when AI review drafts is off, the Daily AI limit is reached, or the branch has no Google Reviews Annual Pack and your credits can't cover ₹5.

Voice input

When Voice input is on, customers see Speak instead next to In your own words (optional). Their words are added to the text box, where they can change them.

  • On phones that type speech themselves, the button reads Listening… tap to stop while the customer speaks.
  • On other phones, the page records up to 1 minute. It shows Recording with a timer and a Stop button, then Turning your voice into text….
  • Either way, each voice input (one tap of Speak instead, until it stops listening or recording) costs ₹3 + GST, paid from your credits, or ₹2 + GST on a branch with the Google Reviews Annual Pack. A pause while speaking is not a new voice input.
  • Each branch takes up to 100 voice inputs a day, with or without the pack.

The recording is never stored. It is turned into text and dropped.

The customer may see:

Message When
Allow the microphone to speak, or type instead. The phone blocked the microphone for the page.
Couldn't catch that. Try again, or type instead. Nothing clear was heard, or the recording failed.
Voice input isn't available right now. Please type instead. The branch has had 100 voice inputs today, or voice input is off.
Too many tries. Please wait a few minutes, or type instead. Many recordings came from one network in a few minutes.

Speak instead is hidden when Voice input is off, when the phone can neither type speech nor record, when your credits can't cover a voice input, or when the branch has had 100 voice inputs today.

What a 1 to 3 star customer also sees

When the customer picks 1, 2 or 3 stars, the drafts read Thanks for being honest with the line Your review helps others, and helps the business improve. in place of Pick one to post. The drafts are short and plain, and Copy & post on Google works the same as for 5 stars.

When Private note for 1–3 stars is on, a card Also tell the owner privately also shows below the Google buttons.

  1. The customer reads the line Only the owner sees this. It doesn't replace your Google review.
  2. They type in Message to the owner, 3 to 1000 characters.
  3. Optional: they fill Your name (optional) and Phone (optional). Under the phone, the page explains: Share your name and number only if you want {your business} to contact you about this, including on WhatsApp. Used only for this.
  4. If they want you to contact them, they tick Yes, {your business} may contact me about this.
  5. They tap Send to the owner. The page shows Sent to the owner. You can still post on Google.

The page uses your business name in place of {your business}. Name and phone are saved only when the box is ticked. Without the tick, the note reaches you without them. The note also carries the answers and names the customer tapped, and the page language, so you see the whole visit. Name and phone are deleted 90 days after the note. See Read private notes.

If drafts aren't available (AI review drafts is off, the Daily AI limit is reached or the AI didn't answer), the same card shows under Write it myself instead, so a 1 to 3 star customer can still tell you privately.

The Google button stays on the screen the whole time. The note goes to Private notes, and Review page shows an alert such as 2 unread private notes with Read notes. See Read private notes.

Keep the page polite

Swear words and slurs are blocked on the review page, on both sides. Honest criticism is not: "the service was slow" or "the food was cold" goes through, and the drafts keep it, in polite words. Google doesn't allow a business to hold back negative reviews, and Ohanvi never does.

What customers see:

  • Words with a swear word or slur in In your own words or Other are not sent. The Want to add more? card opens and shows Please keep it polite. You can still share honest feedback. The customer changes the word and taps Write my review again.
  • A private note with a swear word or slur is not sent, and shows the same line.
  • Words spoken with Speak instead come back with any swear word taken out.
  • Drafts never contain a swear word or slur, even when the customer used one. A draft that has one is dropped. If no clean draft is left, the customer sees Write it myself and writes their own words.

What you see:

  • A swear word or slur in your questions, answers, names, flyer headline, tagline or icon labels stops the save with Please remove the word "…" and try again., naming the word.
  • A Google reply, typed by you or drafted for auto-reply, with a swear word or slur is not posted. See Set up auto-reply.

Ohanvi catches common tricks too, such as f.u.c.k, sh1t or long repeated letters. It checks whole words only, so words such as "class" or "assistant" are fine. The word list covers English, Hindi and Hinglish.

Make a new QR code

Make a new code if your link was shared somewhere you don't want it.

  1. On Review page, under Settings, click More settings, then click Generate new QR code. The Generate a new QR code? window opens.
  2. Click Generate new code. The message New QR code ready. Download it again before printing. appears.
  3. Download and print the new QR code or flyer.

Old QR codes stop working

The old link and every printed QR code and flyer stop working at once. Update any link you shared. Paste the new link into any WhatsApp review request flow that has the link typed in, such as the store Review request automation.

Ask for reviews on WhatsApp

  • After an appointment. The starter Ask for a Google review after an appointment sends your review link 2 hours after an appointment is marked completed. It always uses your current link. See Ask for a Google review after an appointment.
  • After a store delivery. The Review request store automation asks for a review 3 days after delivery. If your review page is live when the store automations are first set up, Ohanvi fills its review link with your page link. If the automation was set up earlier, or you made a new QR code since, click Copy link and paste your page link into it yourself. See Automate store messages.
