Google Reviews¶
Google Reviews gives your business a review page, a QR code and a link that help customers post a Google review in their own words. You confirm your business on Google, share the code, and track how many customers reach Google's review form.
Where to find it¶
Click More on the left rail, then open the Google Reviews section. If you move it onto the rail, it shows there as Reviews. See Customize the left rail.
The section lists:
- Review page — set up your page, confirm your business on Google, and share the QR code and link.
- Flyer — design a printable flyer with your QR code.
- Stats — your Google rating, review count, how many customers reached Google, and what customers told you on the page.
- Private notes — a follow-up inbox for notes that 1 to 3 star customers chose to send you as well as posting on Google. Set a status, add your comment and contact the customer on WhatsApp.
- Profile check — a score for your Google listing, what it is missing, and how it compares with similar businesses nearby.
- Auto-reply — draft replies to new Google reviews, and approve them or let them post. This needs Google Business Profile, and shows only once Google approves Business Profile access for Ohanvi.
- Branches — a review page, QR code and numbers for each branch.
- Settings — the AI model that writes drafts and replies. It is your organisation's default AI model.
Private notes needs its own permission, so a teammate may see the other items but not this one.
With several branches, every screen shows Branch: at the top. Pick the branch you want to work on. See Manage branches.
Moved from Social
This was Review Booster under Social. It is now its own section. Your page, link and printed QR codes keep working.
How it works for your customer¶
- The customer scans your QR code, or taps the link you shared.
- Your review page opens on their phone, in the language you picked. They can switch to another of the 11 page languages.
- They pick 1 to 5 stars and answer 3 or 4 short questions about your kind of business by tapping an answer, such as Excellent. They can add a few words in the box Anything else? e.g. the service you used.
- If you added names, they can tap who helped them and what they came for or bought.
- They can add a few words of their own, typed or spoken with Speak instead.
- They tap Write my review. Ohanvi's AI offers 3 drafts, Short, Detailed and Warm, made only from what they picked and said. For 4 or 5 stars, the drafts mention your business, the service and your area once, naturally. For 1 to 3 stars, they are short and plain.
- They tap Copy & post on Google on a draft. The text is copied and Google's review form opens.
- They choose their stars on Google, paste the text and tap Post.
They can edit a draft, or tap Write it myself and write their own. Customers who pick 1 to 3 stars can also send you a private note. The Google button stays on their screen.
Customers post the review themselves
Ohanvi never posts a review for a customer. Google has no way to do that. The review goes up only when the customer taps Post on Google.

Before you start¶
- Your role has access to Google Reviews. If you cannot see it under More, ask your admin. See Team, roles and permissions.
- Your business has a listing on Google Maps.
You do not need to connect Google Business Profile to collect reviews, run a profile check or show the website widget. You need it only to read and reply to reviews inside Ohanvi, and for auto-reply. Connected, it also adds reply-rate and activity checks to the profile check. See Reply to Google reviews.
Google's rules¶
Google removes reviews, and can restrict your listing, when you break its review rules. Google Reviews is built to follow them. Keep to them in what you say and print too.
- Don't offer rewards. No discounts, freebies, cashback or contest entries for a review. The flyer headline refuses reward words.
- Ask every customer. Don't ask only happy customers. Every customer sees the same Copy & post on Google button, whatever rating they pick.
- Don't hide Google from unhappy customers. The private note sits below the Google button. It never replaces it.
- The customer's own words. Don't write reviews for customers, and don't post from staff or family accounts. Drafts use only what the customer picked, typed or said, and the customer can edit them.
- Names only when the customer picks them. A draft mentions a service or product only when the customer tapped or typed it. Staff names stay out of drafts unless you turn on Staff names in drafts, because Google doesn't allow asking for specific content in reviews. Don't use names to stuff keywords into reviews.
- No keyword stuffing. Google removes reviews that look alike. Drafts mention your name, service and area once at most, word each draft differently, and say These are suggestions. Please edit them to reflect your genuine experience.
FAQ¶
Can I send unhappy customers to a private form instead of Google? No. Google does not allow review gating. A 1 to 3 star customer can send you a private note as well, but the Google button is still there.
Do the drafts say how many stars the customer gave? No. A draft never states a star count. The customer chooses their stars on Google.
Does Ohanvi know which customer posted a review? No. Google does not tell Ohanvi who posted. The page asks for no name or number, except an optional name and phone in a private note. Those are saved only when the customer ticks that you may contact them, and are deleted after 90 days.
Which AI writes the drafts? Your organisation's default AI model. See or change it in Google Reviews → Settings. See Choose the AI model for Google Reviews.
Who pays for the AI drafts? You do, from your credits. Each tap of Write my review that returns drafts costs ₹5 + GST, on every plan. It gives up to 3 drafts. A tap that returns no drafts costs nothing. On a branch with the Google Reviews Annual Pack (₹1,000 + GST per branch for 1 year), drafts are free. See Buy the Annual Pack for a branch. Suggest with AI questions and AI flyer backgrounds are free. The daily AI limit caps how many run in a day, with or without the pack. When the branch has no pack and your credits can't cover ₹5, or the limit is reached, customers see only Write it myself.
What does voice input cost? ₹3 + GST for each voice input (one tap of Speak instead), or ₹2 + GST on a branch with the Annual Pack, paid from your credits. It is charged whether the customer's phone or our AI turns the speech into text. Each branch takes up to 100 voice inputs a day. When your credits can't cover one, customers don't see Speak instead and type instead.
Do I need Google Business Profile? No. Ohanvi finds your listing on Google Maps. Google Business Profile is needed only to read and reply to reviews inside Ohanvi, and for auto-reply.
Is the customer's voice recording kept? No. A recording is turned into text and dropped. It is never stored.
I have several branches. Do they share one QR code? No. Each branch has its own review page, Google listing, QR code and flyer. See Manage branches.
